A number of golfers, their 'significant others' and their friends enjoyed a sell-out evening celebrating Valentine's Day on, of course, Saturday 14th February. The format was a candle-lit 5-course dinner followed by entertainment in the form of a couple of talented singers, dressed for the occasion and singing well known popular hits.
The menu, which was slightly less daring than last May's Club Dinner, nonetheless catered for all tastes, was well presented and well-appreciated. The singers overcame a few technical sound problems with some very polished singing and the diners helped their food go down with a few slow dances towards the end of the evening. Apologies from the photographer for not getting shots of the diners but his batteries ran out !
