Out of all the golf clubs in Bristol Stockwood Vale is the best draining thanks to miles of underground drainage and the porous limestone under the fairways.
The last wet winter was 2009, however, apart from during the snow the course didn't have to close at all. Indeed, golf buggies were only banned for 40 days from January to December, 11 days of which were due to the snow in February.
Combine our hugely experienced green staff with the USGA specification greens; 160 acres of undulating land; 12,500 plus trees; meandering streams; miles of drainage and we have created the very best all weather golf courses in the area.
